Dr. Yi Xin is a research assistant in Institute of Botany, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). He received his Ph.D. in China Agricultural University in 2016. His current research areas include: 1) Using high-throughput sequencing data, phylogenomics, and comparative genomics method to explore the contribution of dynamic changes of genome architecture to the environmental adaptation. 2) Develop bioinformatics software to utilize re-sequencing data for geographical origin traceability of vital medicinal and edible plants, as well as ornamental plants. 3) Using integrated bioinformatics pipelines to find potential relationship between epigenetic modifications and important phenotype in plants.
