The laboratory has seven research platforms and a number of delicate instruments and phytotrons. Seven research platforms are established, including the plant species information platform, plant photo and intelligent recognition platform, plant DNA and molecular identification platform, morphological and structural botany platform, plant genes and genomics platform, plant bioinformatics and genomics platform, cultivated and functional botany platform. The major instruments include HiSeq 2500 system，PacBio Sequel System，Micro-CT scanning system，High-content Imaging System，GE Biomolecular Interaction Analysis，High resolution Cyro-SEM，Leica Digital Microscope，Ultracentrifuge，Real-Time PCR Thermal Cycler，Two-dimensional gel electrophoresis system，Infrared Imaging System，Protein purification system and High performance computer clusters for bioinformatics.
